Please reach out to any veterans you may know of who could use some help in coping with lasting damage from their service, whether visible or hidden. We need them as much as they need us. Too many leave us every day.

We cannot make that zeitlang go away, nor should you want it to.
But know that we think of you. Parents, wives, husbands, children, brothers, sisters, other family, friends, and loved ones - all are Zeitlangers together.

While this site is a tribute to those who have died, we know there are many thousands more dealing with the physical and mental impact of their experiences. We honor you and your families for your sacrifices and perseverance.
Please read about Merlin German and the Wounded Warrier call center named in his honor.

We honor all who have lost their lives as a result of their service - whether an official DoD casualty or not. If you know of someone not listed whose death came after active duty, please let us know. We add them when we learn of them, without changing the DoD-figures on this page.
